How to get to Paestum

By car

FROM NORTH:
Take the A3 to the Battipaglia exit. Continue for about 20 km on the SS 18 towards Paestum. From the state road 18 exit at Capaccio Scalo and reach via Laura di Paestum.

FROM SOUTH:
Take the A3 Reggio Calabria-Salerno up to the Battipaglia exit and continue for Paestum for about 20 Km on the SS18. From the state road 18 exit at Capaccio Scalo and reach the via Laura di Paestum.

By train

Reaching Salerno: direct connections (Trenitalia and Italo) with the main Italian cities, then from Salerno (or Naples) take local regional or interregional trains towards Cosenza or Reggio Calabria and get off at the Paestum station.

By plane

The Naples-Capodichino airport is about 90 km from Paestum. From the airport you get to the Naples railway station in Piazza Garibaldi with shuttle service, Alibus city bus (runs every 20 minutes, € 3.00). The journey by taxi from the airport to the train station costs about € 20. Then continue by train from Naples Station to Paestum.
